There are many activities and behaviours that affect the economy of a country. Corruption, tax evasion, and absenteeism are just a few examples. When a mayor who received a bribe signs a contract for a project with the least skilled and the least demanding contractor, he will unavoidably cause enormous damage to the nation. Poorly done, the final work will last only a few months before requiring repairs more costly to the public treasury. When a trader works illegally and pays no taxes, he will grow richer quickly, but at the expense of honest traders and the nation. The first will then face unfair competition, and the second will suffer a revenue shortfall that could be used to finance some projects. When an employee, regardless of position, is often absent without reason, he will affect the good functioning of the sector in which he works, and in turn he will harm the whole nation. For all these reasons, we all ought to commit ourselves to the fight against these phenomena in order to prevent that our country sinks into inextricable crises. By: D.Messaoudi

          The United Nations has sent out a warning that up to fifty per cent of prescription medicines sold in developing world pharmacies are fake. A report from the International Narcotics Control Board, the UN drugs watchdog, said fake medicines are flooding into poorer countries. It stated that the consequences of people taking these drugs can be deadly. It also warned that the trade in fake prescription drugs may soon overtake the trade in illegal drugs. Many of the resources of the world’s law enforcement agencies are focused on hard drugs like heroin and cocaine. The UN suggests a refocus so that poor nations can fight the trade in counterfeit prescription drugs. The biggest problem for developing countries is that their laws are too old to control the flood, especially for sales over the Internet and those delivered by mail.

       In America, people are afraid of unemployment. There is a direct link between employment and education. There is a saying: “Improve your schools or lose your jobs”. Many governors of states agreed to the development of common standards in essential subjects.
